Kim and her daddy Bobby started as vendors in an antique mall in Angier until it closed. Then Bobby considered renting the closed antique mall space for himself and Kim. They rented the space as “KnB’s Brew & Browse” until the building was sold a year later.
Kim and Bobby purchased an 18 wheeler and loaded up all of the treasures and were on the hunt for a new location. While looking, Kim’s friend found a building for sale at 120 Raleigh Street in Fuquay-Varina and they took a look at it. Kim and Bobby decided to purchase the building and after 9 months of renovation it was opened as “KnB’s Brew & Browse“.
Around 4 years later they changed the name to “KnB’s Marketplace” and transitioned from a consignment business to offering vendor spaces. In 2011, Kim’s dad Bobby retired and Kim became the sole owner of “KnB’s Marketplace“.
Today, “KnB’s Marketplace” houses around 40 vendors space in their 5,000 square feet antique mall in downtown Fuquay-Varina.
